Thank you to everyone who participated in the BC MBA Games 2023!

This annual event brings together MBA students from British Columbia universities to compete in academic, athletic, and team spirit challenges. WISH is truly honoured to have been selected as the official Charity Partner by host SFU.

The theme for 2023 is Decolonizing Business.

Organizers say that “Decolonizing business requires the dismantling of dominant Eurocentric models, and the incorporation of Indigenous ways of knowing, being, and doing. This means acknowledging the harms of colonialism, committing to reconciliation efforts, and making space for Indigenous leadership in business. By centering Indigenous knowledge, values, and practices, we collectively create more equitable and sustainable business practices for all.”

The BC MBA Games Fundraising Challenge is a chance for some friendly competition, with teams from each school devising their own campaigns to raise funds for, and awareness of, WISH!
